today I was given the privilege to tell a patient they will be let out of hospital to go into hospice care for end of life care; they were so overwhelmed and happy that they cried... what an amazing job I get to do

before I started nursing I lived in a 15 bed house, tonight we all started talking again on the old group chat, we are all in such different places! I wouldn't be a nurse if it wasn't for that crazy house, they were so supportive and accepted everyone and now I miss them 😂

another really tough day on the ward today but we all ended the shift laughing and feeling positive that we are all back in again tomorrow

I'm so lucky to be able to have supervision with @laura_fuller12 especially at the moment! She's bloody brilliant ❤️ thank you 🌼

today was a day from hell, everything was going at 110mph, alarms were going off left, right and centre, staff were disappearing every 10 minutes for hours at a time but I am so proud of myself for getting through it
