I've come way too damn far in the last 4 months physically, but also mentally, to let up any amount of effort. FOUR MONTHS. Gotta keep up the intensity & push a little harder. Can't wait to see what's to come.

Goddamn these early morning leg days where im wanting to cry & quit are the true testament of the discipline that I have built. It hurts so much but feels so good.
Just because your heart rate increases when you lift weights does NOT mean you're getting the same cardiovascular benefits as sustained, longer duration cardio exercise.
Weight lifting is important and great for you. But it is not cardio.
Do both.
@PrimitiveAK Everyone just got a wage adjustment 12/1 that was a WHOPPING 2% of our base pay. That was also the first time I had seen a raise in the 2.5 yrs I've been at that job.

Losing a lot of weight very quickly shows you're motivated. Which is great.
But to lose weight slowly & keep it off for years while building a healthy relationship with food shows you've learned patience & habit are more powerful than motivation alone. And that's extraordinary.
Although I had to work a 14hr on my birthday today, there were 5 babies born on my shift and I even had the honor of delivering one myself.π₯°π₯° #laboranddeliverynurse
