UPDATE: He took the hat from a kid on camera… and now his entire business is getting torched.
The man who selfishly snatched the signed cap at the US Open has been identified.
His name is Piotr Szczerek, CEO of a Polish paving company called Drogbruk.
The internet didn’t just find him.
They found his company.
And they’re lighting up every review site they can find.
This is what happens when the world sees you rob a kid’s moment, and you smile like you got away with it.
CONFIRMED—@ABC Linsey Davis, who moderated last night’s Presidential Debate, had a MAJOR conflict of interest:
She is a sorority sister of @KamalaHarris, and bragged about it on record, years ago.
BREAKING: Jonathan Willis, the officer in the famous photo of the two snipers on the roof at Trump's rally, has informed the public that he had the assassin in his sights for at least 3 minutes, but the head of the Secret Service refused to give the order to take out the perpetrator. 😱
They prevented him from stopping the assassin before he took shots at President
Trump.😳
Up Late and Can’t Stop Thinking About All This — It’s finally hitting me we had to part ways with THE John Calipari.
Cal was the Czar of this Sport when we were at our peak.
One and Done Revolutionized this game.
It’s not Cal’s fault kids out of high school aren’t as good as they used to be.
They used to be able to learn in 9 months how to compete at the highest of levels in CBB by March, and that’s just not the case anymore unfortunately.
Think about it — Eric Bledsoe was the 57th ranked player in the 2009 class and he’d arguably be the best player we’ve had since the 2017 season on every team.
Times have changed — but Cal being the fierce competitor he is, is so determined to prove everyone wrong and do it again. I respect it. But we just can’t have it happening at our Program’s expense anymore.
I’ll block out the past 4 years when I think about Cal’s time here.
I’d give my life to experience Year 1 all over again — even knowing how it ended against WVU.
I wore a 2-tone sleeve in Middle School Basketball because of John Wall. Who to this day is MY GOAT.
Brandon Knight hitting that Game Winner over Golden Boy Aaron Craft against #1 Overall Seed Ohio State is still the best game I’ve ever seen in my life.
I’ll never forget walking out of the Super Dome in that pouring rain thunder storm hearing someone say We hear you Coach Rupp” as lightning struck down after we won #8 over Kansas.
I remember exactly where I was watching as Aaron hit a game winner against Louisville, against Michigan, and once more against Wisconsin.
And I’ll remember the weight being lifted off my shoulders as Jerian Grant airballed that corner 3 over KAT, WCS, and Trey to send us to the Final Four at 38-0.
That’s where my memory of the Cal Era will always end. That 6-Year Stretch might only be a fraction of it, but that ride was more success than 99% of Sports Fans will ever experience in their entire lives.
I’m grateful for every second of it and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Thank You,
John Vincent Calipari
La Familia Forever 💯
All around us we can see fulfilled Bible prophecies, signs indicating that the return of Jesus Christ is drawing near.
As followers of Christ, we should be watching for Him. We need to be ready to go.
Jesus, speaking about His return, said, “Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning, as though you were waiting for your master to return from the wedding feast. . . . The servants who are ready and waiting for his return will be rewarded” (Luke 12:35–37 NLT).
Are you ready for His return? To be ready means to be engaged in activities that you wouldn’t be ashamed to be doing if Jesus were to return.
It’s a good idea to periodically ask ourselves this question: This place that I am about to go, this thing that I am about to do, would I be embarrassed if I were doing it when Jesus came back?”
Think about your plans. Is there anything you will be doing today, tonight, or tomorrow that you would be ashamed to do if Christ were to return? If so, then change your plans. You want to be ready for His return.
One day there will be no more night. No more war. No more terror. No more pain. No more bloodshed. No more rape.
No more hunger. No more children killed by grownup hate. Nothing left to fear. For Christ’s kingdom shall come. His will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven.
