@Kati_Kleber@keepitrealrn I think thatโs more of a weird hospital hierarchy thing though than it is a general age/experience deal. Lack of respect for the knowledge/experience of those working in less critical areas than you. I see it at my hospital!
I cannot wait for the day that enough people are invested in the fight against ALS that a tweet saying โend ALSโ can go viral alongside tweets about politics.
On that day, this guy with ALS will get out of his wheelchair and dance like no one is watching.

As ICU nurses we used to make a pact about shaving each other's legs, plucking stray chin hairs & what Dr we wanted in our care.
Now we are making pacts to tell our families when it's time to let us go if we end up in ICU with Covid.
