@adcwaste I'd rather take screw ups over a piss poor attitude. You can hopefully catch the screw ups, and correct them over time. You can never fix someone's piss poor attitude or the awful experience your customers will receive from it.
Oh man! I would say 90 days to compentency. You should know in a couple of weeks if they can handle it. My suggestion if you have the staff is to have one person dedicated to one line of service, if you're not already doing that. Especially because your business appears roll off heavy. Are you recording all calls?
I have my guys double-input the action, e.g. if it's a REMOVAL they'll select REMOVAL in the system, and then write in the instructions box. This has been a fool proof way to catch the wrong action selections for 15+ years.
@adcwaste Until you slam on your brakes! π
Years ago I bought a brand new, loaded, platinum F150 and I got stuck in the middle of no where on a road call, cleaning up diesel with a pallet of dry sweep and loading it in my brand new pickup. Still traumatized.
@adcwaste@AKASpencerScott Ironically their demo shows a large, usable QR code, but what's actually printed is tiny and I don't think customers will know to scan it.
@adcwaste Do you have issues with guys "emptying" the fridge - years ago we used to do something similar until one particular person would literally empty the fridge.
@adcwaste What a beautiful family you have!
God has blessed my wife and I with two, and they're the best thing to happen to either of us. Also on the plus side there's nothing more motivating for work than knowing you've got a beautiful family to support and come home to.
