BREAKING: Donald Trump suffers a disastrous defeat as a Colorado judge rejects his desperate procedural motion to dismiss the lawsuit that seeks to ban him from the state's presidential ballot.

This could be a huge problem for Trump in 2020...

The lawsuit in question correctly points out that under the 14th Amendment, those who have participated or assisted in an insurrection are legally barred from holding political office.

One need only review footage of Trump's speech from January 6th, his constant stoking of the Big Lie, and his refusal to call off his supporters as they stormed the Capitol to see the truth of this matter.

Donald Trump is and remains an insurrectionist.

Trump's shady attorneys tried to argue that his actions surrounding the January 6th insurrection do not count as incitement and thus the case should be dropped. Judge Sarah B. Wallace was not swayed.

She cited a need for the suit to be fully argued given its unique weight and importance.

"To be clear, I’m not deciding any of these issues,” said Judge Wallace. "I’m denying the motion for directed verdict because in order to grant the motion for directed verdict, I would have to decide many legal issues that I’m simply not prepared to decide today."

She said she will be able to better decide on the case once Trump's team have presented their argument fully.
