How about the mayor cutting his bloated staff instead of punishing property owners for promoting an event that brings hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue to the city and it’s small business owners, restaurants, and hotels…. I think we already pay enough in taxes and fees, getting really sick and tired of government overreach.
@JMGregorchuk The CAA is a useless grift other than collecting your dues and spending that money on wining and dining Sacramento lawmakers making them as effective as the California Republicans in the legislature……
@CityofSanDiego@BalboaPark The city is ethically morally, and financially bankrupt while they’re bloated staff concentrate on these type of press releases………. explains the rapid deterioration of San Diego……..
This has nothing to do with the current administration. They’ve done nothing but chase out the tech industry…..
Significant tech concentration: California’s Q1 2026 GDP growth is heavily driven by the information sector (tech, software, data processing), which accounts for a large share of recent expansion — recently surpassing government as the state’s top output category at hundreds of billions annually, with Silicon Valley (Bay Area) as the epicenter capturing most AI-related activity, VC funding ($335B+ statewide this year, vast majority in the region), and productivity gains
@MayorToddGloria One percent of San Diego’s population cares about this….. you need to concentrate on what’s really important like spending 100% of your time dissolving incompetent NGO’s and diverting that money to actually building psychiatric hospitals…… and getting rid of your bloated staff
Guaranteed they are deferring CapEx. The playbook is the same for all of these Financial Engineering hustlers. Suck as much money out of the property as you can…..pay your incompetent maintenance guys $15-$20 an hour…….you can see if you check the resident ratings and I’m talking about actual ratings not manipulated by concessions. Guarantee they’re not taking care of the routine maintenance items that have to be addressed with these properties…. They don’t have the money to budget this…. All these buildings will continue their decline.
So who produced the data? I’m assuming the same NGO‘s that are profiting from your administrations malfeasance….
Guaranteed that data is manipulated to continue the grift…. Between your Financial Engineering on the budget and the NGO fraud you and the entire council should be facing criminal charges….. It’s outright theft of taxpayer money.
Do not eat these. Discard immediately if you recognize any of these in yours or a loved one’s kitchen, it’s the easiest act of love you can do for them today.
A French study in PLOS Medicine examined the impact of emulsifiers (food additives used to improve texture and extend shelf life) on cancer risk.
Researchers analyzed data from 92,000 adults over nearly 7 years and found that certain emulsifiers significantly increased cancer risk:
Mono & diglycerides of fatty acids (E471)—found in processed baked goods, margarine, and ice cream—were linked to:
15% higher risk of overall cancer
24% higher risk of breast cancer
46% higher risk of prostate cancer
Carrageenan (E407 & E407a)—a thickening agent in dairy alternatives, deli meats, and plant-based products—was linked to:
32% higher risk of breast cancer.
Cancer is complex and multifactorial, but one thing is certain: the food we eat plays a massive role in shaping our long-term health. Cutting out ultra-processed foods and focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods is one of the most powerful steps you can take to reduce disease risk.

The post Covid inflation did a number on any kind of building maintenance and or upgrades…. While the county assessors continue their ignorance of this aggressively valuing buildings which you have to fight every year. That combination is what is causing a lot of distress….. I’m watching it happen in the DFW metroplex buildings that were sold in the low interest rate 2021-2022 are all getting foreclosed on now….
@CohenSite@moseskagan@JMGregorchuk If you think what happened with Jarvis is bad wait until people in the RE development biz who have been supporting DSA candidates get the mandami rent freeze revenge…..
Remember this without Howard Jarvis, you all would be fighting the assessors hyper aggressive valuations every year, submitting your operating statements yearly and having to pay lobbyists who play golf with the assessor…. The people in this state don’t know how good they have it try going over to Texas, Illinois, Jersey or New York……
@Serenitee_Sam There needs to be federal legislation passed that when people do something like this or interfering with the operation of the flight or aircraft. They’re automatically and permanently put on the FAA no fly list…..
