@Eriklarlar@WhalersPlates The Flames are unable to move for the next 35 years under their lease agreement for Scotia Place, which literally pays for the Flames half of the agreement for its construction.
@CofRedCentral There's literally no more room on the event level for another team at Scotia Place, not to mention the scheduling conflicts with 4 other teams all playing out of the same arena at the same time + increased concert draw. If we did get a team they would be based out of winsport.
@Br8k74@KimJohnston@FlamesNation They stated pretty clearly when they debuted that one that it was just temporary for the final years of the Dome, and that Scotia Place will get a custom Jumbotron.
@snapbacksports The Hitman's space is essentially just a locker room and nothing else. The Roughnecks just use the away dressing room, and the Wranglers bus in from Winsport like it's an away game because they simply don't have space for them.
@snapbacksports And then there's the event level, which is currently WAY too small. Currently the flames are kicked out every time a concert happens, because there's not enough space for both. And there's so little office space, that they even have a temporary structure set up out back.
@MatchsticksCGY I'm picking Buffalo. Mostly for the lack of playoff experience and fan pressure from being in the playoffs for the first time in so long.
@CGYFlame1@CofRedCentral From what I remember hearing, the flames were impressed with the concourse of the Xcel Energy Center, and with these renders you can definitely see the inspiration.
