@CyberRacheal Poorly worded, it is either the switch or could be modem if it is a 1990s configuration with a SLIP/PPP connection. On a home network the router/gateway/dns still hase a buit in switch.

@engrfix1 All replies are correct, but it can be made to work, in a fashion, if you pulse the DC current on and off to build a magnetic field and then let it collapse. That is how the coil on a car works off 12 volts DC. The points open and closed the circuit.

I got my last puppy from a breeder bc the local rescue shelter had a page long list of requirements with a nasty note in bold saying if you don’t meet every single requirement don’t bother contacting them.
