@WilliamShatner I’m surprised you even heard that much. There are actually a number of critical injuries and 19 sent to hospital, but the airport management has been hopeless in communicating anything to the public.
@BaldinoRick@TorontoPearson CEOs lead. In a crisis they state fact. They know every element of the response to date and lay out the path forward. If they don’t know something , they make it clear what steps will be done to find out. They show empathy. She missed every. single. point.
@mbbreviews@TorontoPearson She was not the right person to give the update. It’s pretty clear she didn’t know what was going on at her own airport, but ready to take credit immediately before all facts are known. It’s actually ok to say you don’t know. It’s what you are doing about it. She said nothing.
@p_penney@TorontoPearson@globalnews@AgendaFreeTV Did you watch the update?? There is no way she could have handled questions. She barely made it through repeatedly patting herself on the back and stating injuries were minor (of which there are actually a number of critical patients - her thoughts should have been with them)
@tedlasso_tour - does anyone know how to reach the operators? My emails have gone unanswered for three days now. Any thoughts or should we book elsewhere?
@clintonthegeek@twitandrewking Just advising what the staffing reductions are. I’ve done work for companies actually putting these systems in. Judge as you see fit I guess.
@mikekujawski The genie is out of the bottle without question. Perhaps a more cautious embrace is a more responsible approach. The worst elements are already well engaged with developing it for their own needs, but regulation has its merits for things that have extinction level potential.
@NCC_CCN@CdnHeritage It’s just wonderful to see that the NCC pays for things like this. I had no idea. I look forward to receiving the cheque for the art I leave at the end of my driveway every two weeks.
