Everyone wants to save the West, but I don't think we're talking about the same West. I want to save the West of Socrates, Homer and Plato, through their second incarnation as Trekboer Africans. TradCaths want to save the West of the Conquistadors. The OrthoBros want to bring Constantinople back. The RedeemedZoomer Calvinist gang Jamestown, wignats 1930s Germany with anime, and Conservative Inc. the Reagan 80s. I suppose local Border War nostalgists are trying to hold onto the 70s, and American "Trads" the 50s. I think one of the biggest signs that we are a dying civilization is that we agree that we have to "retvrn" to something, vecause there is something deeply broken about the Occident right now and that it's veen on that trajectory for a while, but we can't agree on what to retvrn to. The West is so destroyed we can't even remember a time in which it worked. I don't mean to blackpill, because if you read my posts, you know I think there are real answers to this question of where and what to retvrn to, but I wouldn't be an honest realist if I didn't tell you that this is a problem we must solve.
