I've met so many students, parents and community members, but it's impossible to meet everyone before E-Day. If you're still undecided, please review https://t.co/8v6ADBM7Xr and reach out with your questions—I'd be happy to hear from you! Here are a few things about me: (1/4)
- I have served on a policy governance Board (like HDSB) and have experience overseeing operational budgets
- I’m currently leading a review of collaborative approaches to decision-making - I'm fluent in French and a strong supporter of opportunities for bilingualism (3/4)

Are you a senior? Please vote for the candidate who will advocate best for your grandchildren, and all kids in our community. Talk to the candidates, talk to your family and make a decision that best reflects your values. Your voice matters! See you at the polls on Monday. (3/3)
All residents of Wards 1 & 2 are eligible to vote if they are Canadian citizens, age 18+, and public school supporters, whether or not they have children in schools right now. And you should vote: a strong public education system benefits everyone in the community! (1/3)
I’ve met many grandparents and other seniors over the course of the campaign: former students, parents, educators, even Trustees and a former Director of Education. Their knowledge and experience are incredibly valuable and I'll be drawing on their wisdom, if elected. (2/3)
My core priorities:
1) Helping kids catch up academically after the pandemic
2) Ensuring their mental health is supported
3) Making our schools safe and inclusive
4) Serving as a local voice for our community

I hope you enjoy tonight's HDSB presentation—please know that your entire community is cheering you on! This is only the beginning and I wish you all the very best. #halton#burlon#burlingtonontario
@geoffmboyd I think school buses are low-hanging fruit. Diesel is a group 1 carcinogen. Electrifying our fleet will have significant health and cognitive benefits, along with the environmental impact. Supply is an issue right now; that will change quickly.

2) Collaboration. I believe in listening deeply and finding common ground to build broad consent for decisions. 3) Evidence. As a researcher, it is important to me that we use the best available evidence when making decisions and that we adapt as we learn more. (2/2)
What values are you looking for a Trustee to bring to the Board table? Here are three core principles for me: 1) Fairness. I believe in supporting all students, regardless of their needs, goals, or backgrounds, and that students who are struggling should get more support. (1/2)
I heard this cover of Just a Girl this morning (https://t.co/XshPF4gUue). In 2020, only 13% of engineers were women. We are generations away from parity (https://t.co/QdvTIZrkb1). Getting girls excited about STEM is one step and it only happens with a focus on equity.
I'm dedicated to meeting as many parents and community members as possible. Many thanks to everyone who opened their doors to talk in Aldershot this weekend and @LeahSReynolds, @AndreaGrebenc, @AD4Burlington, Jerome Adamo and @ErinPepler for coming out with me. #burlon#halton
Today was a hard day. My heart is with the students, staff and families at Central who are hurting. We grieve together as a community. Be gentle with each other, slow down, and tell the people in your life just how much they mean to you.
