Selfie on Zurriola Beach today. A city beach where nudity is permitted and culturally excepted on the far western side. However, most people still stay textile so discretion is more important here than on a designated nudist beach. Thanks to this beach I managed to sunbathe for about an hour yesterday without seeing a single other nude person around me. At one point however, I heard a prude Englishman passing by saying ‘look at this guy here showing off his willy’. I didn’t react. That’s the kind of prudery that needs to improve in Britain. To him, I was simply being exhibitionistic because it’s somehow drummed into British society that you can’t be nude without a sexual interest. When in actual fact, being nude is the easiest and most natural way to accept yourself for the person you are inside and out.

Why are Brits so prude when it comes to nudity? We’re all the same underneath anyway. What’s so shocking about the site of a penis? We all know what one looks like! To my knowledge I’m not overlooked by anybody, but even so, what business is it of theirs?

I use to close my blinds in the daytime when I was pottering around naked but not anymore. Nothing will happen to the world if the odd passer-by happens to notice that I’m nude in my lounge room and why would they even care?

Some people think of those who post nude photos on social media as ‘exhibitionists’ which I find offensive. We all take selfies only when we feel most comfortable about how we look. It just so happens that for me, that time is when I’m nude.
