Was a great but challenging time at Bradley Hall GC working with Matthew & team. Got there in the end!

'Everyone knows that Headingley's a top course so it’s a hard one to walk away from but I always knew that I wanted to follow in my granddad’s footsteps'

Good luck to Matthew Roberton as he takes over at Bradley Hall as their new head greenkeeper

@THE_LHC @ben_thorntonn @headingleygolf We have added fescue areas around the golf course(back of 13). Plus by removing trees on areas like 7&8 has helped to promote the heather and the managed gorse.

@ben_thorntonn @headingleygolf Shading issues, airflow and wanting to return to the original Mckenzie identity as heathland golf course were just some of the reasons I believe Ben 👍🏻

All set for three days of the Yorkshire Amateur

The flags are in (or, in this case out), course is looking great and the forecast should be spot on 🤞

Good luck to everyone playing

A year ago the seed had just gone in the ground on our short-game area...

Looking a bit different 12 months on - massive tip of the cap to our greenkeepers who have worked tirelessly on the area throughout this period👍

[Matthew Roberton @Robbo8111998]

@mcshamrock Hopefully not 🤞🏻

[Matthew Roberton @Robbo8111998]

@mcshamrock I spotted him on 11 I’ll let him know you have it 😂

Can anyone name a single benefit from the decision to sack Bielsa?
