Senator Edwin Sifuna says many MPs privately support his side but fear President Ruto may withhold development projects.
He says they plan to switch after most projects in their constituencies are completed.
Handed over appointment letters to more than 300 healthcare workers recently employed on permanent and pensionable terms, further strengthening our commitment to delivering quality healthcare services.
In keeping with my pledge to prioritize our health workforce as a critical pillar in the provision of quality, affordable and timely healthcare, we issued appointment letters to 308 health workers, including nurses, clinical officers, nutritionists, dietitians, laboratory technologists and pharmacists who had previously served on contract and PNP terms. This reflects my firm belief that staff welfare is fundamental to efficient service delivery across our health facilities. So far, we have promoted a total of 1,367 healthcare workers, and this year we will recruit even more.
I commended our healthcare professionals for their dedication and contribution to the progress we have made in the health sector, while urging them to remain committed, focused and compassionate in serving our patients. As we continue expanding health infrastructure across the county, our goal is to ensure residents access quality healthcare closer to their homes, with health workers remaining at the heart of this vision. We believe that a well-motivated health workforce is essential to improving healthcare delivery and achieving better outcomes for our people.
Present were Chief of Staff Dr Peter Ketyenya, Health CEC Roselyn Mungai, Chief Officers Dr Daniel Wainaina and Joseph Kibusya, County Public Service Board members led by Chairman Charles Mwai, and Nakuru Teaching and Referral Hospital Director Dr Santosh Devaraj.

What memento does someone who visits Lamu, Diani, Malindi, Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Mombasa or any single tourist destination in the country leave with?
Doesn’t it occur to you that someone can visit the destinations and leave with nothing to make them a return client (visitor)?
Can we do destination branding well? All airlines landing at JKIA should be contracted to announce to those flying in that they are approaching over Nairobi National Park.
99% of Crew of flights flying into JKIA don’t know that they are approaching over Nairobi National Park.
WHY are boda boda riding against traffic EVERYWHERE in Nairobi? Why? Don’t we have traffic police in this country? We cannot NORMALIZE such illegal, abnormal, and UNCIVILIZED conduct and still call ourselves a world class city. We CANNOT! Those responsible must act. NOW @IG_NPS@DCI_Kenya@ODPP_KE@AGOfficeKenya
President @WilliamsRuto truly loves Kenya!
Where was Uhuru taking our taxes! Where did he take the Sh.10 trillion debt he took in our name?
Why is Uhuru not in Kamiti Prison for open theft of our public funds!
So are we blaming PS Fikirini? Can we just understand that there is a bigger problem which the PS, Police or any single leader can’t handle but all of us must unite and handle it?
Our law enforcement capacity hasn’t grown as fast as our population or cities.
It’s tragic Cecil Ouma, a young man attending a youth empowerment event, was allegedly shot dead by a security officer attached to Youth Affairs PS Fikirini Jacobs. This tragedy must be investigated thoroughly and fully so that everyone responsible faces the full force of the law. There must be no place in our society for such a calamity.
Know that you are destined for the opposition when Americans start throwing parties for you.
We attended many of the private sessions and even parties, which only ended up helping others, not us.
Omiyo enjoy the sumptuous meals as you relax in opposition. @Disembe
Americans sure know how to throw a good party!
The U.S Embassy in Nairobi did exactly that last evening as it hosted a reception to mark the 250th anniversary of American Independence.
The incoming government was well represented at the event by H.E Kalonzo Musyoka, JB Muturi, Caroli Omondi, Faith Odhiambo and yours truly.
KTN and the entire Standard Media group can't mention a single member of this "secret unit" in the police BECAUSE it doesn't exist.
It's a creation of the Standard Media group.
KTN has obtained information on an alleged chain of abductions within the country’s security systems, including details of a secret unit reportedly designated to deal with individuals deemed problematic to the government.

Commercial activists like Boniface Mwangi use live props like Davis Lichuma to manufacture anti-govt rage. @DCI_Kenya should charge these people with terrorism.
We’ve received notice that the Department of Commerce has lifted export controls on Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5.
We'll begin restoring access tomorrow, and will share an update soon.
We’re grateful to our users for their patience, and to everyone who worked with us on redeploying the models.
