Open Letter To @SecRubio: Even if Iran to agrees to NOT manufacture any nuclear weapons, if they subsequently ever wanted to use a 'nuclear,' what's to stop them from getting one or more from China or Russia? If you address this question, and offer a reasonable answer, perhaps more Americans will show greater support for the war.

Opening Night at @MetOpera ruined by politics! At an otherwise outstanding performance of a superb opera, partisan remarks by General Manager Peter Gelb were followed by even stronger partisan remarks by @SenSchumer. As if that wasn't enough, the 'Welcome' message in the Playbill made mention of The Met "severing all relations with Putin's murderous regime." If Russia is banned, then maybe China and India should be as well; after all, they help fund the war in Ukraine by buying Russian oil. A surreal experience. After exhibiting roses on and off for 45 years, yesterday, I won the TRIFECA - Miniature Queen, Miniature King and Miniature Princess - at the Long Island Rose Society Annual Show. And that's not all, I also won Mini-Flora Queen, Best Hybrid Tea Spray, and Best Hybrid Tea Open Bloom. I had the privilege of serving the Long Island Rose Society as President from 1991-1993 and in 1995, the society bestowed me with Honorary Life Membership. .@realDonaldTrump : Have your cake and eat it too! Don't deport otherwise-law-abiding immigrants who entered the county illegally. They are needed to perform the low-wage manufacturing jobs you hope to bring back to the USA; and, they are desperately needed to grow our tax base - to reduce the deficit and national debt. Instead, create a path to citizenship which is different (and more stringent) than the legal path. I have chosen the theme "The Global Perspective" in keeping with my function as World Federation of Rose Societies VP for North America. WHY VP HARRIS DOESN'T ENJOY MORE SUPPORT FROM MODERATES.

Her student loan amnesty, isn't fair to four groups (1) those who would have selected a more expensive school had they known their debt would be pardoned (2) those who repaid or are repaying their loans (3) those who chose not to go to college to avoid the financial liability, and (4) future generations of students.

Student loan amnesty can be made fair - AND GAIN THE SUPPORT OF MODERATES - by the requirement of something in exchange for the amnesty - such as some type of public service or volunteer requirement, perhaps for the life of the loan.

And, in viewing Harris' plan from the broadest possible perspective, it simply isn't fair to favor one group - such as those who have not paid their college loans - over another group - such as those who would like to be paid reparations for their ancestors being enslaved.
