@itsScarJ Men that stopped to ask how to get there in the past never went anywhere because they were told it didn’t exist, or it was too dangerous so they stayed home. Some of them died trying when they went anyway…losing 20 minutes is the least I can do to honor them.
@NashTalksTexas The model is there and he learned it first hand from Saban. CEO head coach with a revolving door of top coordinators coming for a year or two to get head coaching jobs. Keep him unless he fully embraces that model.
@SbuMasang Love to California. Wake up at 4:30 and watch all the matches each weekend and start adulting around 9am when the fan wakes up. It’s amazing. Excoet whe ln your team loses the 4:30am Sat match.
@the7maxims Why wouldn’t Texas take in Texas St or UTSA and use them like a minor league team. Stack them with Freshmen running their schemes and feed Austin each fall.
@lacekeyesurgery Indiana doesn’t have the clout to risk 2 good losses and get in. Ohio State does. Indiana should schedule cupcakes, Ohio State can keep playing Texas.
@ImDerBatman I’m assuming they are counting Nebraska , that means most years OU guaranteed two blue chip matchups while Texas only had 1 gauranteed each year
@OUFball218 OU could have navigated moving to the SEC. They could have mastered the NIL era. Venables could have been a great hire. All three at the same time has doomed them. Way better choices than Norman when the money is even and winning with just defense can work in a smaller league.
@indy_sooner The only way to explain why we think 4 is better than 7 is that we grew up in Texas being told that Lone Star was the National beer of Texas and we accepted every part of that statement. Doesn’t make sense, we don’t care. Go argue with a fence post. Hook ‘em.
@ThrillaRilla369 I’m 56. Raised believing it will not be there. Now that it’s close I’m starting to believe it might be there. I’m going to get Charlie Browned aren’t I?!
@jdpickell One of the underrated problems with being ranked #1 during the season is that it dramatically reduces the hate watching hoping for upsets so you can climb the rankings. Last weekend Texas had a bye and I couldn’t even root for upsets. At least OU lost.
