I welcome the news that both Rhode and Daingean Garda stations will reopen. The stations will have limited opening hours but it is positive move in the right direction. It also reflects the growing population of North Offaly as was shown in the last Census.

At the October meeting of the Edenderry MD I requested some traffic feedbacks signs be installed on the approach roads into Edenderry. The first one was installed this week on the approach to the town from Tullamore with further ones to be erected on Francis St and the Carrick Rd

The Government is announcing today an investment of over €170,000 in 5 library branches across the county of Offaly. With the Edenderry branch receiving €32,000.
