Reporter for Total Traffic & Weather Network. Family first! Extremely grateful for the people in my life. Sports and craft beer! Lakers, Chargers, Angels!
Fans who followed LeBron here believe the team should've perpetually bowed to him. Detractors will discount his title & celebrate his departure. Those who pay attention appreciate the amazing moments & also recognize it was probably time to move on. Thanks for everything, Bron!
@LakersDailyCom If that’s what was happening then Jaxson or Marcus or somebody else needs to step up and get in Goga’s face for it. Have your guy’s back, especially with him sitting on 15 techs and clearly being bated.
@champagnennuts Similarly, the equal odds for all non playoff teams significantly deincentivises teams trying to get into the playoffs with the last couple of seeds.
@champagnennuts The downside to this would be teams tanking much more severely early in the season. Then just trying to turn it on after they’ve intentionally achieved early elimination.
@tomhaberstroh@bball_ref Not sure how you talk about this but don’t lead with Kobe’s 81 in 98 TSO, which would be statistically more impressive than Lillard’s 71 in 92 TSO.
I guess the writing was on the wall with Joey & Jesse’s new venture announced last month, but they’ve legit been one of the bright spots in that organization for the past decade. Interested to see where the Lakers go from here.
The Los Angeles Lakers are reorganizing their basketball operations department and terminating executives Joey and Jesse Buss from their respective front office positions, effective immediately, the brothers told ESPN.
@TheDunkCentral@RunItBackFDTV Also, this is the same guy who said AR would never be more than a 15 ppg guy. Whether for attention or whatever else, he clearly has an axe to grind.
@TheDunkCentral@RunItBackFDTV Lakers aren’t even first in FTA per 100 possessions. ORL is, but talking about the Magic getting calls won’t draw clicks. Lakers are second, but just as close to 9th as they are to 1st. 🤣
@PlayoffDude In past years I would’ve said yes, but I think Austin has gotten to a place where he’s at least as good if not slightly better. Plus Lauri misses too many games and doesn’t rebound or defend well enough for a big, and he’s actually a couple years older than Austin too.
@okcstone What exactly would be the significant difference in your mind? Statistically they’re near identical. Bane is slightly better on D and Reaves is a slightly more versatile offensive player.
It’s funny to me that Lakers haters want to find every opportunity to devalue our players.
10 NBA head coaches have been in the finals since 2019. 6 have since been fired. And one other team traded their 25 year old superstar just months after making the finals. Insane stuff.
@HPbasketball It’s crazy to me that the most consistent winning franchises have consistency of leadership & (to lesser extent) of roster & yet so many franchises are so quick to make huge changes at the first sign of distress. Such a level of impatience, probably higher than any other sport rn
@Dick_LedgerCFO@LakerCentral365 AD played 76 of 82 last year and 42 of 49 so far this year. Hes played more over the last 5 years than Kawhi, PG, KD, Embiid, and many other stars that don’t get that label. That BS narrative doesn’t hold weight.
Still can't believe we are tweeting this, but just want to take a moment to say thank you to Anthony Davis.
Truly an all-time #Lakers great. Number 3 will go up into the rafters one day.
Wishing you the best of luck in Dallas, Champ. #ThankYouAD
