@jktjsb @PetrocTrelawny @BBCRadio3 @BBCYoungMus At the last minute they changed to show the full version on BBC2 at 6.30 instead of the planned abridged version, sorry!

@Andy_Tattersall Have you noticed how ChatGPT often likes to begin the last stanza with "so". I can't think of many "real" poems that do

@waitrose how ironic to see this in the New Malden Waitrose when there have been no strawberries on any occasion I have visited in the last two weeks

[Robert Elves @RobertElves1]

@andrewdunn62 Thank you, can’t wait!

[Alice Cann @alicecann]

Last week (is it really only a week ago?!) I attended, and presented at, the @BLAlibNews 2023 conference #BLA23. I’ve written about (some of) the experience while it’s still fresh in my mind https://t.co/wIvITkf3TW

[Robert Elves @RobertElves1]

@PhilReedData @andrewdunn62 @fechtbuch I don't have enough patience for Blossom. I get about 5 or 6 longish words and then lose interest. My mother has pointed me to Connections Game which is like Only Connect

[Robert Elves @RobertElves1]

@PhilReedData @andrewdunn62 @fechtbuch Yes Q Sequence is fun. I normally have several guesses for the first word and then everything falls into place

[Robert Elves @RobertElves1]

@andrewdunn62 😄

[Alice Cann @alicecann]

Theory: premiumisation of proper books. Trained through life to see print books as proper, leading to ticking that box on surveys? #BLA23

[Business Librarians Association @BLAlibNews]

The book Ruth Smalley mentioned in her talk #BLA23 - Factfulness: Ten Reasons We're Wrong About the World – and Why Things Are Better Than You Think https://t.co/WksxIP1RyI

[Robert Elves @RobertElves1]

@samanthahalf @asharman Sometimes I feel students say they want print as an emotional response but actually use the ebook (if available)

[Alison Sharman @asharman]

Caught in a trap! #BLA23 Lots of things to consider when providing e-books.

[Robert Elves @RobertElves1]

#bla23 need to check though, eg EBL says the books work with a screen reader but you have to change the font first, not obvious

[Robert Elves @RobertElves1]

#bla23 at Edge Hill did audit of all their resources and what accessibility features they have - for library staff so they can advise students

[Business Librarians Association @BLAlibNews]

The devil is the detail - indeed, especially when it comes to librarians sorting out the access to ebooks #BLA23

[Alison Sharman @asharman]

“Inclusive design means better design for all” Home Office Design blog. So true. I have really benefited from being able to listen to a book whilst driving, walking & even doing my supermarket shop! Saves me so much time. #bla23
