@JasonWGeorge @sagaftra A key in the AI discussion is to keep consent/compensation separate from the Gen AI part, the “AI Synthetic Fakes, that don’t look like any individual performer.” Great gains on the former. The latter, which threatens the survival of the profession, is the big question mark here.

Because of the strike, we haven’t had much chance to support projects. That will change once we settle on a fair deal. We have, though, been able to do that for films like this, made under our SAG-AFTRA Interim Agreement. And it was nice to have cause to throw on a suit. ;)
