@atrupar the volume of One World Trade Centre is 1,550,000 cubic metres, while the volume of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is 25,500 cubic metres. Also, the drawing of the reflecting pool is too wide by double.
@Number10cat the volume of One World Trade Centre is 1,550,000 cubic metres, while the volume of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is 25,500 cubic meters. Also, the representation of the reflecting pool is not even the right shape.
@MeidasTouch@tylerblack32 How does he imagine that Congress will operate the Centre, other than by requiring the Executive Branch to fulfill its proper role in accordance the laws it passes? In this one post he shows his complete and abject ignorance of the role of all three branches of the government.
A reminder that no serious historian, academic or anyone who has spent even minutes looking at Nazi Germany agrees with this. Hitler locked up the left, denounced the left. He was not a 'hardcore socialist.'
The only people who say this are... Nazi sympathizers & the far right.
@CraigBaird I think that we can be big enough to admit that it is an absurd name. Endearing, beloved and/or despised, evocative of a long and unlikely story, and indispensable to our social cohesion, but otherwise, thoroughly absurd. Given sufficient time, eccentricity can become greatness.
@glen_mcgregor The only tasks on the MOCA that involve numbers are
-to repeat a list of five single-digit numbers;
-to reverse the order of a list of three single-digit numbers;
-to count down from 100 to 72 by sevens
-to know the date
-to know the year
@glen_mcgregor It’s becoming less and less clear whether he’s lying or experiencing delusional false memories, but professing to recall details of a cognitive assessment that are in fact complete and utter nonsense is not a good look at all.
BIG news out of Kitchener-Waterloo: the Ontario Superior Court has ruled that homelessness is an analogous ground for discrimination under s.15 of the Charter. This is a BIG step toward recognizing homeless people as an equity-seeking group under the law. Governments take note!
