Why are people screaming about the NHS? I have been on strong antibiotics now for six days and am no better. I have one tablet left. My doctor will not even discuss my symptoms again until I have finished the course of antibiotics which means there would inevitably be a break in treatment and a seriously infected leg should go untreated. It seems all common sense has gone out of the window. Or of course I can travel 18 miles to an urgent care centre. This would involve two busses and a mile long walk. I am in a wheelchair! Should I call an ambulance or risk my symptoms getting far worse?
p.s. My wonderful old GP who took early retirement 8 years ago is no longer registered. Sensible fellow.

Nevri have again failed to deliver an Amazon order. The fact it is a large box of broken biscuits is of course immaterial but I am sure the depot enjoyed them. I am totally completely fed up with Evri - they should be closed down. Compensation please Amazon - who am I kidding? In fact Amazon itself are far less reliable these days.

I am told that delivery of my Amazon order is attempted at 6:52 pm this evening. This is a lie. I was at home waiting for my delivery. Can you tell me what compensation I may expect? This is the fourth delivery failure I’ve had in a week. #amazon

Large power cut locally 1119 homes off but gradually being restored. Funny how you get complacent if the lights stay on for a few weeks but never forget we live in a country where the minimum level of service is good enough!

Once again Chinook helicopters flying over Horsted Keynes 7 miles from Gatwick skipping over treetop height not showing up on Flight Radar. There will be an accident soon - mark my words.

Apparently, Amazon are experiencing delivery delays in some areas. Any idea what’s happening and why?

Do not suggest that it was a factor in the accident this morning but I am noticing many cars are now travelling in the centre of local roads. Why? Potholes which tend to be at the sides of roads . It is now very common to round a corner to find oncoming cars well over the line. Makes our already narrow roads half a metre narrower!

Weather forecast again wrong showed rain today with absolute 100% certainty, now postponed until midnight on Tuesday. Sort of comical isn’t it? Zillions of pounds in computers and I can do better looking out of the window!

@AboutEG I am not complaining about the heat but I AM complaining about the forecasters who have got it wrong for several days now. Surely with all their technology they should do better? Anyway rain firmly forecast for tomorrow now.
