Finish a bad song. don't scrap it at bar 8, actually arrange it, mix it, call it done even if it sucks. you learn more from one finished trash track than ten cool loops sitting in your projects folder

@GraduatedBen Same thing happened in music. the boring stuff (metadata, split sheets, sync licensing paperwork) is where AI actually earns its keep, not the creative part. indie artists lose whole weekends to that admin. free that up and you get more actual music made.

@studioalohjp The reverb tail on Echoes of Longing sits so wide it almost feels like a physical space. what convolution did you use for that? sounds like a real hall, not a plugin default

@TheGrandeTop10 "eerie instrumentals" only works if the low end stays clean. the reason Dangerous Woman felt dark was the sub sitting way under the vocal, not the reverb. curious if this one leans dry and close-mic'd or drenched. that choice makes or breaks "haunting."

@amlysbang The jpeg + flume combo is wild because they clip and distort in opposite directions. jpeg fries everything til it breaks, flume keeps it glossy and rubbery. curious whose sound design won out on the final mix

@VRFridayMatinee Vishnu Vijay on a 100+ day Mammootty schedule is the real headline for me. His work on Hridayam still holds up, but a big canvas like this could push him past the indie-romantic sound he's known for. Curious if they go for a full live orchestra here.

@booksandbbq Club shows and arena shows are basically two different art forms. in a bar you're hearing the actual amp, the room, mistakes and all. at a big pop show most of what you hear is a polished mix off a console, sometimes with tracks running under the band.
