We’re thrilled to be in first place coming out of primary election night! Whether or not the results adjust slightly over the coming weeks, it’s clear that we’ll be advancing to the runoff/general election on November 3!
Thank you to every single person who cast their vote for our campaign or who’s otherwise walked alongside us on this journey. I look forward to working hard to earn the support of others throughout our community.
Onward to November!
@fresnocity and @SCCCD representing at today’s Pride Parade! Thank you to everyone who joined us from our district office, FCC, @ClovisCollege, and @MaderaCollege. Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈
Today, I’m humbled to cast my ballot. Change begins here, at the local level, one ballot at a time, one neighborhood at a time.
When I finished law school 11 years ago, I returned to Fresno to serve the community that raised me. It’s been the honor of my life to serve the city of my birth. Regardless of tonight’s results, that service will continue.
As I’ve said before, this city has so much potential, and we’ve only unlocked a small piece of it. With our community as a partner, I’m ready to break that potential wide open.
Thank you to every single person who’s walked with us on this journey. Onward.
Thanks so much to everyone who’s rolled up their sleeves alongside us during this homestretch! Campaigning isn’t easy, and we can’t do this work alone. So I’m incredibly appreciative of every single person who’s offered their support.
I’m proud to have the support of both our labor and business communities. We’ve built a strong coalition, which is essential not only to our campaign, but also to governing. We cannot achieve our vision for the future of Fresno alone. Only by working together can we make that vision a reality.
As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, I want to give a shoutout to my sister, a school psychologist and member of the social-emotional team at Edison High School. Public service runs in the family ☺️
Like my sister, I’m fighting to build a Fresno that provides our young people with the support, resources, and opportunity to thrive.
Election Day is June 2. Join our fight.
On Friday, we celebrated the @fresnocity Class of 2026. I love this part of my job as a trustee. Congratulations to all the graduates and their families! 🎓
On this Memorial Day, we pause to pay tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We can never fully repay them, but we must continue to try.
Thank you to @smartunionworks local 104, @UAPipeTrades local 246, and @DC16IUPAT for coming out to walk for our campaign this morning! We’re building a better Fresno for working families one block at a time.
I'm incredibly grateful to have the trust and support of our councilmember for District 1, @AnnalisaPerea. Annalisa has been a trailblazer, delivering tangible results for our community, including securing millions in public safety funding, helping reduce violent crime through community-based policing, and leading efforts to expand affordable housing. She has been particularly active in supporting the LGBTQ+ community and working families, ensuring their voices are heard in city governance. With her support, we will continue to fight to build safer, stronger, more inclusive neighborhoods for all our city's residents.
Good morning, Fresno District 1! We’re about to hit the pavement to talk with neighbors about the future of Fresno. If I haven’t personally met you at the door, I hope to do so soon!

I’m proud to stand with the Fresno City Firefighters. Thank you, @Local202, for having my back in our campaign for city council. Together, we’ll work to build safer, stronger neighborhoods.
Point of clarification for our SCCCD community: March 31 is a state holiday, and students and faculty will not be on campus as it is spring break. Classified employees and administrators are on campus March 31. April 3rd is a negotiated holiday for the District, and the District will be closed that day.
As an educator, I’m proud to have the backing of my fellow teachers. Thank you, @fresnota. Together, we’ll work to uplift our schools and build communities where every student can thrive.
