🚨🇺🇸SpaceX scrubbed today's Starship V3 launch, but not before turning the attempt into a valuable rehearsal for the real thing...
-Clear skies rolled in just in time after early weather battles, targeting liftoff near the end of the 90-minute window
-A series of automated holds tripped the countdown inside the final minute
-SpaceX's Dan Huot cited a propellant line issue on the Starship spacecraft, a sensor issue on the rocket tower, and an apparent water deluge system issue
-Unclear which issue, or all or none, ultimately forced the stand-down
-Huot: "New rocket, new pad. We're learning a lot about these systems as we execute them for the first time.
-That essentially makes this a wet dress rehearsal"
-A "wet dress rehearsal" loads the rocket with full propellant and runs a simulated countdown while staying on the pad
-Soonest next attempt: tomorrow evening at 6:15pm ET
Not a failure.
A full systems test that handed engineers real data they didn't have this morning.
New rocket, new pad, new systems.
This is exactly how it looks when you build something nobody has built before.
@SpaceX
A huge congratulations to the Wolf Game community today.
More than these awards, seeing 500+ community members come together at Wolf Fest for an afternoon of positivity makes me prouder than ever.
It is my honor to be on this journey with you.
Back to building.
