Using the name of Jesus is not the same as carrying His authority. Anyone can say “Jesus said” or “in the name of Christ.” That alone means nothing. Authority comes from living in alignment with who Jesus is, not from attaching His name to our opinions, anger, or agenda.

Jesus Himself made this clear. He said that not everyone who calls Him “Lord” belongs to Him, but only those who do what the Father asks. Even demons know His name. They recognize His power. But they do not live under His authority. Authority belongs to those who submit their lives to Him.

Real authority in Christ shows up in how a person lives. It looks like truth without cruelty, conviction without hatred, and strength without chaos. You don’t have to announce it or prove it. When someone is walking in Christ’s authority, it’s evident because their life reflects His character.
