They target them. It’s a calculated move. It’s not an “attraction”. Minors fit the profile of a category of vulnerable persons in society. Add other factors such as disposability (like with Black girls) & they become a convenient form of “prey”.

I won’t go into it but with this process of pathologizing abuse (something that is a dominant narrative in MHC spaces as well), I am very much against that language.

IMO very few people who abuse minors are “attracted” to them.
