@Damian_Roland Baffling that NICE updated NG51 for adults but didn't for paediatrics. As better screening tools already exist we need evidence to prove the inadequacy of NG51 & justify not using it. Wasn't glib, just context as no one understands sensitivity / specificity! #ESPID2024

@emergencypdx As an ED paediatrician that's a normal HR for nearly all of my patients. So it's an easy cognitive trap to miss this in older teenagers for whom I'd be cautious.
