Congratulations to Ottawa 67’s forward Spencer Bowes on his commitment to play NCAA D1 hockey at Providence College starting 2027/28
Spencer was ranked 75th NA by NHL Central Scouting ahead of the upcoming NHL Draft being held in Buffalo, NY on June 26th & 27th.
'Once I kind of found my game....it really felt like I played my best hockey of the season within that 15 games.'

Belleville Sens season ended last night with a playoff miss.
- Yakemchuk 54 games - 10G and 40 pts. 8th in D scoring and 13th in goals. He was also 1229th out of 1230 AHL players at -31 so work to do at that end for sure.
- Merilainen was .909 over the season and ended....2/

Did the #Sens just pull off the trade of the century???
In his organizational debut, Graeme Clarke has a casual TWO GOALS AND FOUR POINTS.
Talk about making a first impression 🙌.
For those who have watched the 67's play, this won't come as a huge surprise but...
Since the OHL trade deadline (15 games) Spencer Bowes leads the Ottawa 67's with 17 points, one more than he put up in the first 38 games of the season.
I hope scouts are taking note of Bowes.
Sparx Hockey is proud to welcome @BC_MHockey's Dean Letourneau as the newest member of #TeamSparx! 🔥 The @NHLBruins' 2024 first round draft pick and Hobey Baker nominee is headed to the Beanpot Finals after posting a goal and an assist in the semis 🫘🏆 @DeanLetourneau
🚨Sunday Scouting w Swishy:
Love this play from LA #92 Brandt Darren Clarke to set up this goal for JuiceBox Kempe. He recognizes early when the puck goes low to high that once Wiesblatt finishes a check he shouldn’t have, the Predators have 4 caught below the top of the circles on the strong side. Let’s breakdown what Clarke recognizes: ⬇️
#1 Once that puck is transported low to high, and Nashville winger finishes his hit (puts himself outside the dots), #92 scans to see the real estate in front of him. He quickly gains inside ice and gets his feet going down hill to challenge #47 on Nashville who is caught sunk below the dot.
#2 He is able to freeze #47 by attacking downhill and eventually create a passing lane to dish the pill over to Kempe. But by gaining the middle ice he holds the weak side defending winger in tracks in case he elects to use his partner Edmundson aka opens up a ton of ice underneath for Kempe to operate in.
#3 Puts #47 on the tracks. Dishes to JuiceBox Kempe and bang bang its top cheese where grandma hides the Epstein files.
Textbook motion off the blue line by #92 and using your eyes to pre scan before receiving the puck!
Pre scan-> take ice and get your boots moving -> attack downhill -> freeze defender -> dish the rock. Excellent display of creating offense for teammates.
