Easy to say this after a big win against the odds (as it is to give an interview like that), but I’m struggling to remember a better post-match than that from a Walsall manager.

Do I think he should get the job? No. But top marks for showing what this team is capable of

@dazfellows The project angle is an interesting one. Not sure how much of this was Sadler or the board but the policy of signing players on their way up rather than as a pre-retirement destination is one we should stick to IMO

Right decision. Players looked completely helpless after full-time last night.

Think @OnePodBeyond got it right in suggesting that the same results in a different order might have been acceptable. Problem is, two wins from 14 (against two of the league’s worst) isn’t acceptable
