While the Thanksgiving dinner has ended, we continue to enjoy. #Thankful for the wonderful visit to @Theoldfield this summer, and for the delicious bottle of Commodore Perry we have been enjoying with this special dinner.
Holding on to the last days of NY summer. Listening to 44/876 and enjoying Jamaican jerk chicken with yellow rice. @OfficialSting and @DiRealShaggy, link up anytime you’re in town!
Retweeting to recognize Dr. Quinn from Comsewogue @comsewoguepride. She and our admin team have built a strong, safe educational plan in this perfectly imperfect situation.
THANK YOU to the School Superintendents of NY who from day 1 have been on the front line of COVID-19. Whether it was reopening, remote instruction, child care, summer school, food service, etc, you have made it happen. #ThankaSuperintendent#LeadersMatter@NYSchoolSupts@AASAHQ
My kids made me feel special this Father’s Day weekend. I turned that good to help another: news, programs and #classical music my boys will enjoy into the future. There’s a TRIPLE match now at @WSHUPublicRadio (Thanks @NewmansOwnFdn!) #Support your local #NPR station. #giving
@senatemajldr Great, @senatemajldr! So, what day is the $500B funding to states to aid effects of COVID-19 on your agenda? Because, regardless of political affiliation, fact is some states got hit harder than others. I’d like to tune in to observe as our legislature discusses and approves.
We will navigate this. Right now, we start planning how to continue the educational growth of our children in the mixed year of 2020-2021, so that come Sept 2021 (post-COVID, please) school year, each student is where they should be at that time.
Re-opening Board includes over 100 leaders across business, community and civic organizations. Zero participants from K-12 public #education. @NYGovCuomo I believe you forgot something...
This. @MikeHynes5 gets it. For all the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has brought, it may be just the opportunity our children needed to gain a pivot to a 21st century education. Get on the bus and let’s make it happen!
When you’re right, you’re right. @NYGovCuomo pins the tail on the donkey (AKA @senatemajldr). Stop screwing around, Mitch. This is a national emergency and once again NY takes the brunt, then gets the “no thanks” treatment.
Let’s talk about fairness, Mitch.
NYS puts $116 billion more into the federal pot than we take out.
Kentucky TAKES $148 billion more from the federal pot than they put in.
But we don't deserve help now because the 15,000 people who died here were predominately democrats?
BREAKING: NYS ANTIBODY TESTS RESULTS IN
Preliminary results of the New York antibody study estimates 13.9% of residents have had the coronavirus. On Long Island, 16.7% of the people tested were positive.

@senatemajldr With all due respect, @senatemajldr, I live on a 1/4 acre on Long Island, and my taxes are well over $10k. Far from the “wealthy” you describe. SALT may not have affected fellow citizens in KY, but here, the middle class feel the affects of your votes.
Stop picking on our kids, @NYGovCuomo. You already stole from them last recession (remember the Gap Elimination Act funds you “borrowed”?).https://t.co/liEf5BeLLt
