I just signed the first bill of the year: lowering costs for small grain buyers.
Prosperity for our ag community is not a partisan issue. I’m glad to see legislators come together in a bipartisan way to get this done.
I’m honored to have just received the endorsement for U.S. Senate from the Forum newspapers—which includes papers throughout Greater Minnesota from Duluth to Rochester to Worthington to Fargo-Moorhead!

Today DFL members of the Senate Agriculture Committee along with Leader @KariDziedzic were in Stearns County touring the Janski Family Farm. With one in five jobs related to agriculture in Minnesota, our caucus is committed to helping our family farmers thrive.
I voted in support of common-sense provisions to address gun violence. This bill strikes a balance between enhancing public safety and protecting Second Amendment rights, and both are supported by the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association. https://t.co/nAPVpxwGJX
Our state college and universities have not been properly funded in over 20 years. This bill will be not only be a game changer for them but for students whose families make under $80,000/yr by providing
free tuition.
“The amendment I brought during the floor session would have provided tax relief to 227,000 of our seniors, without cutting funds for schools, nursing homes, roads and bridges and public safety. I was disappointed to see the amendment was not adopted.” https://t.co/UtnjntpxiD

I don’t vote the party line. I’m not a blind follower. I call things how they are and vote accordingly. We need to address gun violence and that includes prosecuting gun crimes. That’s why I voted with my Republican colleagues to keep mandatory minimums on gun crimes. #mnleg
Minnesota’s farmers face challenges out of their control, from extreme weather events to elevator closures, to animal and plant diseases. Senate DFLers are fighting to invest in and support the hard work they do for all of us. https://t.co/ius65k6Cqv
As a member of the Health and Human Services Committee, I have consistently voted to expand access to health insurance for all Minnesotans. I have voted to make health insurance more affordable, and to lower prescription drug prices.
