@chris_kammy Congratulations Kammy! They say never meet your heroes but you pulled over and chatted to me after a Bradford City game last season while I was working and you were a gentleman. All the best to you both 🥂🍾
@paul1964Jam I remember going to watch Blades away at Burnley one year on opening game of the season and this guy was walking around the pitch before kick off with a microphone trying to ‘rouse’ the crowd and get them up for it. It was embarrassing, nobody listened to him!
@LensandLady Yes when I was younger we used to travel through Glen Coe to get to the west coast for our holidays, and we visited Glen Etive. It’s absolutely stunning! 😍
@HelenBladette So sorry for your loss Helen, hopefully some comfort to be had for you in that you were able to be with your mum as she passed. Take care. X
@DireStraits77 What more was there to achieve? And it seems for Mark Knopfler the joy was in simply performing and playing. I think possibly the gargantuan machine that touring had become maybe detracted from that enjoyment.
@DireStraits77 Brilliant artists. The first band I ever saw in concert, in 1991 aged 12 and I was hooked. I’m so grateful I got to see Dire Straits before the split.
