Washington DC is continuing to allow illegal immigrants to register and vote in their local elections, including for Mayor, Attorney General, DC Council members, and other offices!

This stems from DC's Local Resident Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2022, effective since 2024, which permits ILLEGAL residents to vote in local elections. The DC Board of Elections provides a dedicated illegal voter registration form.

In June 2025, the U.S. House passed H.R. 884 (266-148) to repeal this law and ban illegals voting in DC elections, with 56 Democrats joining Republicans. The bill remains PENDING in the Senate right now.

Wisconsin Congressman Tom Tiffany has repeatedly highlighted this issue: "They got their official non-citizen voter registration application. So there it is, the U.S. Capitol has turned over control of its government in part to foreign nationals legally and illegally present in our nation's capital!"

⚖️ GOOD NEWS: On October 27, 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a brief, unsigned order with no dissents, denying an emergency request to restore a 2024 Biden-era regulation that allowed immigration judges to delay deportation cases indefinitely.

What a lower court did in June was cancel a 2024 Biden rule that let immigration judges put deportation cases on hold—sometimes for years—while the person pursued other options like asylum or a visa.

This was a loophole that allowed people to remain in the country indefinitely without a final decision.

The Texas judge’s ruling threw that rule out nationwide and also limited the government from creating similar rules later. Because the Supreme Court declined to pause the Texas judge’s decision, that cancellation and the restriction on future rules are still in place.

🚨BREAKING: A Trump-appointed federal judge has ruled that Illinois’ discounted in-state tuition for illegal aliens is unconstitutional.

U.S. District Judge David W. Dugan permanently barred the state from providing in-state tuition rates, state financial aid, and related scholarships to unauthorized immigrants. The ruling came in a Justice Department lawsuit arguing the benefits violate federal law by discriminating against U.S. citizens.

The decision blocks Illinois Democrats’ long-standing program and joins similar rulings in other states.

California just showed us exactly how far sanctuary politics will go. ICE agents showed up outside the Monterey County Jail in Salinas yesterday for a targeted operation, waiting to take one or more people into custody when they were released. Instead of cooperating, the sheriff put the whole jail on lockdown, stopped new bookings, stopped releases and closed it to visitors.

Then a county supervisor, Wendy Root Askew, walked right up to a federal agent on camera and told him nobody would be released while ICE was there. The agent asked her point blank whether they were going to keep people locked up past when they could legally go, just to keep them away from ICE. Her answer was, "They will not be released in a location where ICE is present." Think about that. Local officials would rather shut down their own jail and hold people longer than let federal officers do their job.

Here in Texas, our sheriffs work with ICE, and that's how it should be. When someone in the country illegally ends up in jail, they get handed over, not hidden.
