I am inching ever closer to hitting 15 percent body fat. For once I am excited about my InBody scan this weekend. Im hoping for good news but will be appreciative no matter what.

For the past few days I have struggled to stay awake during the day. I wonder if the digestive work from constant bulk eating is contributing to my fatigue. But I am happy I am steadily growing in muscle and weight.

I had a unexpected emotional reaction while being trained today. It was frustrating and confusing but ultimately felt healing. I was able to flush out negative memories and I feel like I have turned a corner.

Having adjusted to eating more than twice the amount of calories per day I feel stronger. Having something to look forward to at all times is helpful. Next is the Spartan Stadion event and US Bank Tower climb.

In the last couple days I reached 17 percent body fat and entered the 500 club. I trusted the process and didn’t let myself get too frustrated when I felt like progress stalled.

Body fat and muscle mass % are beginning to change more slowly but moving the right direction. Im going to begin training with a weighted vest and continue to incorporate my boyfriend’s strength training routines until I reach 15 percent body fat.

Increasing weight to reps and sets every single week is not realistic. Instead I’m letting that happen more naturally and gradually and focusing on decreasing downtime between sets.

Of the several new exercises I’ve been introduced to the last couple weeks the Spider-Man push-up was the most challenging but also felt the best to do.

Today my boyfriend provided me with a shoulder and tricep workout routine with video tutorial included. I felt close to him while being challenged. Also I could hear his voice in my head to fix my posture and dip lower.

Today I experienced a new calm. My mind felt very quiet and content. I worked with heavier weight and lower reps until I hit failure. Learning patience and enjoying the process is much less stressful.
