"Twenty-two years ago I married my lovely British husband and immigrated, legally, from New Zealand to the UK. In order to immigrate I had to jump through many hoops... A lot of paperwork, proof I was healthy, proof I had savings and could work, police checks from NZ and a solicitor's letter to prove that I could speak English, and was told I had no recourse to public funds for 2 years. At the time we didn't begrudge any this because that's immigration law and that's fair enough.

"After living here for more than half my life, having beautiful British children, never setting a foot wrong, being fully involved in my community, I have just been told I need a new biometrics style visa to keep working. I have to supply 22 years of formal paperwork (copies of council tax bills, bank statements etc) which I will struggle to get together so I may lose my job. Who keeps their council tax bills for 22 years?!

"My husband and I are working class and being crippled by sky-high rent, energy and food bills - we can't afford an immigration lawyer and there's certainly no "charities" to help white working class English speaking Christian women from the Commonwealth are there! We are so angry that random people can waltz into this country, throw all their documents away on the way over, and get everything handed to them on a platter and now it looks like their visas are all going to get fast tracked for them thanks to #twotierkeir.

They are apparently not due to an open border immigration policy that has altered the fabric of British society at a breathtaking pace. No, no, no. Only bigots would say this. We urgently need a full and frank debate on the impact that uncontrolled mass immigration has had on the country, legal and illegal. The Prime Minister should convene a national immigration assembly, one which truly represents all opinions from across the country.

Millions feel frustrated and millions feel angry. In no way does that justify ANY violence, but failing to even acknowledge these concerns is undoubtedly fuelling some of the abhorrent behaviour we have seen.

Instead of solely blaming the 'far right', Starmer needs to accept that there is widespread concern about how communities have been damaged, public services have been undermined, and our country has changed so significantly.

I asked him about this at PMQs, and he arrogantly dismissed my concerns and stated that he was 'unsure' on my numbers. Millions of people entering the country since 1997 is a fact, an undeniable fact.

It is incredibly concerning that the Prime Minister fails to acknowledge it. Refusing to even discuss how immigration has affected our country is NOT leadership.

Huge swathes of the population feel let down and angry. Even with the election of five Reform MPs, they feel ignored by the political establishment. I don't blame them.

Election after election, millions vote for manifesto pledges to slash immigration. What happens? It soars and soars. Is it a surprise that so many are furious about that?

Let's bring together individuals, business leaders, politicians and others from across the country.

Those who support the levels of people coming into our country? Fine. Come and make your case. Defend your policy.

For the first time ever, let's have a real debate. We certainly won't get one in Westminster. Parliament does not accurately and fairly represent the British people on the issue of immigration, and so many others.

More of the same has landed us in this chaos. We have to try something different, before somebody gets seriously hurt.

People want to feel heard. The Prime Minister must be honest and he must start listening.

This from Jeremey Clarkson resonates with me so much. Also a Remainer, I held the same view. People like he and I are many. We watched the working classes be labelled "moronic far right xenophobes, confused by a bus", and it woke a lot of us up. Those same people, who were asked a question, answered it, have been denigrated for the last 8 years. They still haven't got what they asked for in that 8 years - in fact, it's got considerably worse than when they voted Leave, yet 8 years later, they're now called "Far Right".

We stopped being a democratic country in 1997.
This was confirmed in 2016 when the proles didn't do what they were told.
And in 2024, we're seeing the repercussions of 30 years of the abuse of the people.

30 YEARS, they've taken your money, and given you nothing in return.

The right wing cope for what's happening in Britain is to go on about Keir Starmer.

The left wing cope for what's happening is to blame the "far right".

The reality is much, much worse.

This has nothing to do with the current government and a few racist idiots kicking off are the least of our worries.

Yes, the violent criminals should be prosecuted and given harsh sentences. And yes, Starmer and senior police officers have handled this badly.

But the fundamentals of this situation are inescapable.

Britain has a stagnant economy that relies on cheap foreign labour and a population that is utterly fed up of mass immigration.

We have an open border. No that's not an exaggeration. When I came to Britain in 1996, net *legal* immigration was around 55k a year. That's the number of people who come here *illegally* every year now.

We have a Muslim population, which like any large group is made up of all sorts of people. Most of them are decent and law abiding. But as a population the Muslim community has not integrated: more British Muslims joined ISIS and Al Nusra than the British army, per the Guardian and the New York Times. Google it.

The Equalities Act introduced "protected characteristics" which effectively made members of certain racial, ethnic and religious groups entitled to special treatment.

Partly as a result of this and partly due to the broader introduction of the idea of "diversity and inclusion", the police, social workers and all manner of government officials turned a blind eye to crimes committed by particular racial and ethnic groups. A good example would be so-called "grooming gangs" which are groups comprised of predominantly Pakistani and Bangladeshi men who targeted white and Sikh girls for gang rape. According to estimates there were several hundred thousand victims. These crimes have gone on for over 40 and continue to happen today.

The white British population is in demographic decline. They are not having enough children, while immigrants and ethnic minorities have lots of children. Combined with mass immigration of 600,000-700,000 a year, most British cities now look unrecognisable. White Britons are already a minority in London and other major cities and will become a minority in the country itself within our lifetimes.

It's important to understand that Britain isn't like America. Until very, very recently (2001) white British people made up nearly 90% of the population. Britain is not and has never been a "nation of immigrants". But it will be soon. Despite the fact that the British people voted against this at every opportunity. They voted against it in 2010, 2015, 2016 (Brexit), 2017 and 2019 when the people they elected promised to stop mass immigration and end illegal immigration. At the last election, they gave up on voting for the Conservatives and either voted for Nigel Farage's anti-immigration Reform Party or didn't vote at all, hence the lowest turnout for a century.

This is one of the reasons you see increasing levels of censorship and thought policing in the UK. As people begin to express dissent against what is happening, maintaining this state of affairs requires more and more suppression. This is one of the reasons they are going after @elonmusk - he has created a platform where we can see that the Emperor is naked with our own eyes.

The riots you are seeing have many underlying causes. Many of the people who are burning things down and looting shops are just violent thugs looking for a cheap thrill. The authorities will throw the book at them which they have to do.

But what they won't do is address the cause of the tensions which are bubbling away under the surface. They will give the can another big kick down the road.

I hope this particular flare up of violence can be calmed but you're kidding yourself if you think that will be the end of it.

P.S. There were many brave people who warned us this would happen. They were all demonised and ignored.
