@AllThingsBlades@dannyhall04 I'm fed up of hearing him go on about how much he loves the club and how it's his dream to end his career with us.
The money he's earned will have set him up for life. If coming back means that much to him he'll take the hit.
Following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, Sheffield United can confirm its retained and released list.
Everyone at Sheffield United would like to thank the departing players for their commitment and contribution to the club, and wish them every success in the future. โ๏ธ
Calling Gus to Wrexham right now.
Big payday and they'll probably win the league as they're obviously gonna lob even more ๐ฐ at it this summer.
Won't be surprised if they also go for Cannon and he ends up bagging 15+

@dannyhall04 Any idea what the crack was with Mee, Danny? 1st choice CB during probably our best run of the season pre-xmas then completely disappeared after his injury. Reckon he and CW didn't see eye to eye in the end?
@AllThingsBlades I wouldn't worry too much about it. With all the countless loopholes teams always find I'm sure if they hold a Nandos Card and can say "got the ball ref" in fluent English they'll class as home grown ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ
What's actually happened to Ben Mee?
1st choice when we had probably our best run of the season. Broke his hand in December then disappeared. Not in a matchday squad since Jan.
Seemed quite a good pro so hard to think he and Wilder have had a bust up??

@AllThingsBlades Agree it's shouldn't take that long but scoreline shouldn't come into it. If Forest end up going down / staying up by 1 goal then it makes all the difference
Tanganga, McGuinness, Rothwell, Chong, Cannon, Burrows, Peck, Blaster, Seriki all absolutely abysmal
Was Bamford even on the pitch??

The right decision. Wish the lad all the very best, but won't be shocked to see him retire in the summer or go semi-pro. Tonnes of ability and we'd never have even come close to signing him if it wasn't for his injury record.
1 down, 15+ to go โ๏ธ
Tom set to depart.
Tom Davies will be leaving the club at the end of the 2025/26 season having spent three seasons with the club.
Davies, 27, was signed by Paul Heckingbottom following Unitedโs promotion to the Premier League in the summer 2023.
Davies has been a popular member of the squad and in addition to his on-field contribution, he has been a keen advocate of the club and Community Foundation's efforts in the battle against mental health issues.
Boss Chris Wilder and officials at Sheffield United thank Tom for his service and wish him well for the future.
