@BurpleMan @JCuzzy1 I do get a bit sick of the amount of “by the law” decisions that get made against us versus the amount of “open to interpretation” ones that fail to get given in our favour. I fleet between feeling incredibly hard done by and wondering whether it’s just bias that all fans feel?

@JCuzzy1 Yep. I spent ages trying to argue it and I still think it’s harsh, but looks like the rules have been implemented correctly.

My main issue, I think, is if that happens at the other end, the ref doesn’t even blow up.

@conanriquelme @peciaq I think we all know that the sanctions will be no greater than a hefty fine. The PL know that City are good for it, so it’ll be a convenient way to garner a bit more money for the brand. The whole thing stinks.

@peciaq @conanriquelme I’m a fan of one of the bigger clubs. I’ve seen my team be incredibly successful and they have a bank balance most clubs could only dream of; but those perils still exist. For City they don’t. Their success feels entirely inorganic as a result.

@peciaq @conanriquelme The point is that they have been allowed to build that squad entirely insulated from any of the perils other clubs face. Make a poor £100m signing? No matter, we’ll get another. FFP preventing that? No worries we’ll fabricate another sponsorship.

@conanriquelme I find it all quite sickening. There’s heaps the hate about modern footy, but this is right up there. The media wankathon over how great they are (with no caveat) is similarly nauseating.

@conanriquelme The very worst thing is the amount that are completely ambivalent about it. “At least it wasn’t {insert rivals}”. Perhaps it’s different for us, supporting bigger teams. Most fans of smaller clubs don’t care because it doesn’t immediately affect them.
