BOS Noise & Plane Spotting Forecast: Tue 9/30 & Wed 10/1

A light but steady NNW wind prevails today and tomorrow. Expect the airport configured to use 4R as the primary departure runway and 4L for arriving aircraft.

Noise:
South Boston / Fort Point: Enjoy it for the next few days! Going to be a continued stretch of Light landing noise with arrivals lining up over right along the shoreline and over Murphy Rink. Keep enjoying the relative break southie!

East Boston (Saratoga Street Corridor): Heavy takeoff noise.
Winthrop: Heavy takeoff noise across town under 4-flow; moderate toward Point Shirley and Deer Island.
