@motaberarenaiyo@Konshu@unwireme@mogura2001@roikfbuwgc254 Thank you. That makes sense. One thing that I find a little confusing is the framing of "salvation of people's souls". Isn't that a really Christian way of framing it? Do Shinto and Buddhist temples in Japan think about the concept of saving people's souls? I thought they didn't.
@beyoncegarden I got "rich" and "married" lmao. Rich, potentially, I do have some plans that I'm working on that I hope to finish by the end of the year. Married, in under a year? That seems a lot less likely!
@WeRAmerica2022@FanaticalMonk@archi_tradition I believed that in the past, some of them have been plastered over in a way that minimises the damage caused by it, but the only thing that the current government did, I believe, is covering up the faces with an automatic system that pulls cloth over the frescoe during prayer.
@thatbukharian @WeRAmerica2022@FanaticalMonk@archi_tradition I believe that some of them were plastered over in the past, using a method that minimises the damage to them. But I think that was a long time ago, not what they are currently doing. I'm working off of partial information here.
@MOONPETALS_ Definitely a shoulder to cry on. He's the kind of person that's everyone's go-to shoulder to cry on, but when he needs a shoulder to cry on, he goes to acquaintances he doesn't know too well (but knows that they're alright with it) because it feels safer that way.
@RikaXIV I went through an hour of networking hell to retrieve these pictures from my old PC whose only link to the outside world is a shoddy Ethernet cable, so I hope you enjoy them.
Normally he's a pretty comfy and formal looking Archon, but the highest quality pics I have are edgy.
@PomuRainpuff Oh no ;_; There are so many streams I wanted to catch up to in the future... This is horrible... It finally happened, I now get to experience the loss of my oshi too, like many others...
@GregRecites@BenPielstick@PicturesFoIder Can confirm, and I'm not even sure why, I haven't thought much about it. I disliked hand animation and preferred 3D when I was a kid. I also preferred skyscrapers and contemporary steel and glass architecture to classical buildings, not obviously relevant but it feels similar.
