Me watching normies vent their Eskom feels on X as if there's some sort of evil conspiracy plotted against Wakanda 4 EVA. Reality check chaps, and I'm going to give it to you straight:
ESKOM is BROKE.
That's it.
The end.
No conspiracy.
The money has run out.
Eskom is fucked - last I checked, with R424 billion debt, persistently losing about R60 billion a year, and municipal debt of R110 billion.
The fiscus is fucked - stretched by R4.3 trillion in national debt and R330 billion in annual debt-service costs. We've spent over R308 billion on SOE bailouts!
The government is fucked - lacks the fiscal capacity to continue rescuing Eskom, and Eskom lacks the money to fix itself. It's going to keep raising prices and it will keep losing customers. This death spiral will continue until Eskom is no more and you will continue to pay for its death.
No one is plotting against you. YOU DID THIS.
You wanted communists in Government.
You wanted socialism.
Well, here it is.
South Africa is not failing......
It's dead already!
South Afrika is now in stage 6 of decomposing, and what you see now is rigor mortis.
Electricity blackouts.
@NelMarcel@jacarandafm Hello @NelMarcel, just download Spotify, then you can listen all the music you actually want, listen to very good podcasts and real news. Then switch Kakaranda @jacarandafm off forever.
@Lebona_cabonena The only rich people here are the whites who own these brand companies, selling cheap shit at massively inflated prices to black people.
🚨BASHAR AL-ASSAD FALLS, AL QAEDA TAKES OVER SYRIA🇸🇾
Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad has been deposed in a sudden, shocking turn of events. It seems that a deal was done, and Al Qaeda-linked groups have seized the capital Damascus. Sources close to Assad tell me that he and his retinue are safe and are out of the country.
The US and Israel have finally won the dirty war against Syria, decimated for years with punishing sanctions, an illegal US occupation that stole Syria’s oil resulting in chronic fuel shortages, and over a decade of arms and funding going to ISIS, Al Qaeda, and their offshoots.
HTS leader Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, the de facto leader of Syria, has been rebranded from a fanatical extremist to a diversity-loving ‘moderate jihadist’ in Western media. He was given the ultimate softball interview by CNN, in which he pledged to guarantee the rights of Syria’s minorities, after his troops perpetrated atrocity after atrocity against Syria’s minorities for over a decade.
Biden’s National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan famously said ‘Al Qaeda is on our side in Syria’…now its boss controls Damascus. The State Department still has a performative $10 million bounty on Jolani’s head, though it’s clear to everyone now that he is Washington’s and Israel’s man in Damascus.
NATO countries have learned nothing from the decades of blowback terrorism that has come from disastrous regime change wars, and arming fanatical extremist groups in the region. Now with a fragile coalition led by Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham controlling Damascus, arguably it’s only a matter of time before another episode of horrific blowback.
