@SamuelSmith87@NurseStandard Depends on what you define specialist roles, I work in learning disabilities with complex and challange behaviour with both patients and staff experiencing trauma. Is that any less specialist?
@darrengrimes I am on the side of the law, reasonable force which is proportionate. I dont agree with what they did but he was subdued on the floor the kick and stamp was juts a little far. Want and need are different choices
@bbcquestiontime The NHS does not just need investment it needs an overhaul on how the money is spent and the missmanagment. It is extorted by private contractors, agencies, and the managerial structure, just to name a few things. Millions could be saved by reviewing what is contracted out #bbcqt
@Mofoman360 Yes, not your typical privileged private school toff. He's not scared to say what some people see as controversial he will create a discussion, good or bad but not the usual crap what they think you want to hear lies.
@paul43471534 I agree. The focus was the woman being wronged, neglecting, not paying the fair, being abusive, threatening, pushing the officer, and using the child as a shield. The world is mad. I would expect the police to act the same with anyone the same irrespective of race.

@GMB It's OK talking about contingency plans due to the strikes. Where are the contingency in general? Without a strike, the chances of getting an ambulance are hit and miss due to the shortage of staff and being parked outside an A&E.
@lollynewt11 I know exactly what you mean, I leave most days thinking I still have loads to do, sometimes finish late. But we are but one person aslong as you are satisfied you have done everything you can then you have done your job. There is always things to do.
@Ro_Mac_G_C@DHSCgovuk I totally agree, what they don't understand is that is being in a position where there is an higher level of expectation on there knowledge and ability will only put their NMC pins at risk.
@Ro_Mac_G_C@DHSCgovuk I have see nurses comming of preceptorship into a B6 post just for retention. Which is frustrating given how long it took me when it ment something.
@lollynewt11 Nursing is a vocation you do it because you care and want to make a difference to people's lives. We need to believe that it will change when the right people are in power as God help the people who needed nursing care... you've got this!!
