Shout out to my district @GCSchoolsNC for providing teachers with three weeks of recorded lessons from district leaders so teachers can spend that time focusing on connecting with families/students, getting baseline data, and building out quality lessons for when we go live.
The more I see teachers having to build their own partitions or buy their own “COVID-19” supplies, the angrier I get.
They 👏 shouldn’t 👏🏼 be 👏🏼 buying 👏🏼 these 👏🏼
School districts should be providing.
The government should be funding school districts so they can provide.

Your voice matters.
Even when they tell you to sit down.
Even when your opinion is never asked.
Even when you've been told you aren't enough.
Even when you forget your worth.
Even when the same voices are always called to speak.
Your voice matters.
For white teachers making commitments to learn and take action to be more actively antiracist and work toward social justice, I offer a synthesis with goals and actions from BIPOC leaders we can all follow, read, listen to, and learn from every day. https://t.co/OrgzbaXHqF
Teachers always appreciate administrators who understand that teachers are professionals who need to be EMPOWERED and SUPPORTED, instead of directed and blamed. #EdChat#Support
