Elon Musk just described a future where no one is poor, no one works, and no one knows why they’re alive.

Musk: “It wouldn’t be Universal Basic Income, it would be Universal High Income.”

Every material need met for every human on Earth. Not survival. Total abundance.

Then he asked the question no one else will touch.

Musk: “If the AI can do everything that you can do, but better, then what is the point of doing things?”

Everyone else in AI is arguing about jobs. Musk is asking what happens when survival is solved and nothing replaces it.

The machines don’t just take the work. They take the thing that put us to work.

Necessity.

You built because you’d freeze. You fought because you’d die. You provided because the people you loved would starve without you.

Every advance in human history was an attempt to escape that pressure. We’re about to succeed.

You’ve already felt it go. A week with nothing required of you, and by the fourth day something in you starts to come loose.

You call it boredom. It’s you finding out how much of you was made of being needed.

You can simulate the work. You cannot simulate the need.

Rome already ran this experiment. Citizens outsourced war to mercenaries. Labor to slaves. Purpose to spectacle. The empire didn’t collapse from invasion. It dissolved from comfort.

But Rome only automated muscle. AI automates mind.

You don’t fear being replaced. You fear being released.

Not that the machines will take everything from us.

That they’ll give us everything we ever wanted.

And prove the wanting was the point.

NEWS: ARK Invest bought another 153,249 shares of SpaceX on Monday, its trade disclosures show.

Cathie Wood added $SPCX across four ARK funds in one day.

The buys spanned ARKK, ARKQ, ARKW and ARKX.

SpaceX was a buy in every one of those funds.

It follows ARK adding to SPCX across its funds last Friday too.

SpaceX is already a top holding in several ARK ETFs.

Cathie Wood remains one of the most prominent bulls on SpaceX.

Following Booster 20's impressive static fire test, SpaceX has set July 16 as the earliest launch date for Flight 13. The Booster, along with Ship 40, is currently at the Production Site waiting to roll out to Pad 2.

STARSHIP FLIGHT 13: WHAT TO EXPECT THIS WEEK

SpaceX is targeting Thursday, July 16 for Starship Flight 13 — the second flight of the upgraded V3 vehicle.

Here’s what we’re expecting on this test flight:
• Second flight of the new V3 Starship and Super Heavy booster, incorporating upgrades and lessons from Flight 12
• First test deployment of next-generation Starlink V3 satellites
• Continued evaluation of the improved heat shield and reentry performance
• Controlled splashdown of the upper stage in the Indian Ocean
• Further testing of the new launch infrastructure at Starbase
This flight is primarily focused on validating the V3 design and building operational confidence. A booster catch attempt is not expected on Flight 13, but it remains a strong possibility for Flight 14 if this mission goes well.
Overall, Flight 13 is another step toward increasing launch cadence and proving out Starship’s reusability at scale. The long-term goal remains clear: dramatically lower the cost of getting mass to orbit
