It is a massive development that Netflix has authorized the wide release on February 12, 2027 in movie theatres globally — so very importantly with a traditional 49-day exclusive theatrical window — of acclaimed director Greta Gerwig’s newest film Narnia.
Narnia will also receive some prominent advance screenings only in IMAX auditoriums, of which we have some 225.
At AMC, our cooperative efforts with Netflix picked up steam in the back half of 2025, and have been immensely successful.
Both AMC in the U.S. and Odeon across Europe will throw everything we have into the mix to support Netflix on this effort. We are in their corner fully. We are and will be all in.
It should not be lost on anyone the significance of Netflix trying a real global release of a major film title.
AMC
- is beginning to be in profit on its hycroft investment and has yet to report the gains from Q3 and Q4 (in progress). as of this post around $15m on the shares alone + whatever gains the warrants have shown in that time. These will show as income and flow through to the balance sheet
- just announced progress on partnerships with Netflix as Netflix is poised to ramp up more anime and (rumored to be) doing up to 8 Narnia films among many other projects (COME ON STRANGER THINGS IN THEATRES!)
- Is in one of the best box office quarters in 6 years and the first time in 6 years with three consecutive q's over $2b at the domestic box (avatar, wicked, zootopia, running man, predator, fnaf, and more all still coming)
- Just distributed (and exhibited) Taylor Swift's album launch event globally
- Has paid off almost $200m debt since the last filing (yet to file that) and (pending vote) may pay off nearly another $155m soon.
- Had a rate cut reduce borrowing costs with two more rate cuts rumored by end of year
And the stock has not been showing ANY of this. Yeah, I'll hold. I like the stock

AMC stock today saw 80% of ALL SHARES ROUTED OFF EXCHANGE = Darkpools.
This suppresses the stock price and often creates synthetic shares diluting the company artificially
If AMC shareholders transfer to @LitXchangeApp - purchases of AMC stock would be routed to LIT MARKETS, not darkpools

Another day, another almost 70% of your buys orders hit the #DarkPoolAbuse and their sells hit the LIT exchange.
When will this madness ever end. When will anyone actually care or is the legitimacy of this market completely eroded by corruption? 🤔

It’s a hit beyond a hit.
Audiences are LOVING the new F1 movie from Apple Original Films and Warner Bros. Now at AMC and Odeon.
Don’t miss seeing this global phenomenon on its opening weekend.
Needless to say, Tom knows something about movies, and of course Tom is right.
F1 with Brad Pitt is such an enjoyable movie. Opens this Friday at AMC all over the U.S.
And this so classy message from @TomCruise about our “weekend for the history books” comes from one of the greatest filmmakers of the 21st century. Thank you, Tom. @AMCTheatres and @ODEONCinemas salutes you and those who create great stories under your leadership.

And this, for the umpteenth time, provides visual evidence how ridiculous this market is.
We know what's driving this, and it is not negative AMC related news.
