yes, i entered uranus just like why I would enter anything - cause I liked it

people were indeed yelling at me for weeks and calling me an idiot for not doing the same things others were doing

but honestly I’m pretty impervious to yelling at this point and I actually agree with them that I’m clueless, so I just did my own thing and focused on grassroots support for creators.

the turning point was when @Corey_Ape and anal community members who showed me that the community was gritty, the thesis went beyond some lame ass logic (meow needs to push this, otherwise he looks bad. Ps: who cares), that the jokes was actually hilarious, there was mainstream relatability, and they started doing dope shit like putting up billboards in front of spacex for Elon musk

mostly tho, I found myself having lots of fun, and creating a lot of jokes around Uranus, so here we are

anyway, to set expectations, as a community member, I will not shill uranus, organize buys, push price targets, do wallet buys or promise anything - nothing wrong w those, just not what I do.

I’ll contribute in my own unique ways, and as usual, c’at la vive.

we need to figure out a unique playbook, build useful features and build a brand new network of believers and capital.

one crucial thing is that the market must also understand what we are doing, and why, and this takes time.

for example, it was very important for us to show support broadly to the community and wait for gritty communities to emerge vs try to gas everything that is potentially a runner. we received massive criticism for it, but I’m glad for example to wait till a real community emerged for uranus before entering.

that said, I’m very committed to explaining our approach better, with the massive caveat that we are very much FAFOing, cause we really don’t want to do things the usual way.

therefore, we will need to experiment with new ideas, design new frameworks for projects to grow and all and figure out exactly how we support projects

all that is to say that we will likely defy lots of expectations en route to figuring it out.
Maybe we will, maybe we will not, but really committed to trying.
