2 Majority city rodents CAN BE controlled w/o poisons. No food=no rodents! But poison boxes everywhere. A smarter garbage-generating public + city officials enforcing stricter garbage & building laws REALLY needed to achieve rodenticide-free cities everywhere. Let’s get smart.

How to tell a mouse/rat be using rooms you don’t (or do) have access? When M/R repeat squeeze under doors, etc., they leave easily seen sebum trails (darkened ‘rub marks’) + urine+ pheromones. I call this behavior ‘squeeze pointing’. Often at jambs for entry push leverage.🐀

(2) A one-second confirmation rodents have/have not the needed space to clear door/other gaps by inserting the Frye Inspection Tool (FIT) (Dr. Matt Fyre inventor). Small end = mice; large end = rats. Inspectors & techs of (Health, pest, building) = don’t leave home without it.🐀

Unsettling pitter patter above. Both rat spp LOVE ceiling voids (oft overlooked) dark/protected/warm by food via lines/chases to kitchen/ basemt trash). Ceiling rats tell-tale: scrabbling, chew holes in tiles, urine/blood stains. Ceiling cam above eatery kitchen (trap 60 rats).

The strollers of City Grand Boulevards. People vp: lush greenery, fountains, trees/shade…respites from hot cement streets. In the low shadows a few feet away, rats in cool shady earthen beds..will take their strolls--a bit later. 🌳🐀🐀🐀

1 Wake up call. A highly credible 59 page Anti-Rodent Poison petition from Harvard Law. Abundant/irrefutable science of harm: hawks, eagles, owls, big & small mammals (dogs, fox, bobcats, coyotes); fish, reptiles, song birds ++ Such petitions /laws necessary in all states.

Just imagine if rats had soaps / shampoos (Ratreugena) to wash THEIR bodies free of oils/ greasy films each morning in the shower like we do... We'd NEVER be able to trace their whereabouts and pathways. 😬🐁🐁

Parallel suburbs beneath our feet. N. rats + soil = build rows of houses w/pantries, front & back doors, neighborhood streets to main highways to shopping (foraging) centers for food, water & nesting supplies. Us and them: daily resources-dependent survival habits. 🏘️🛣️🛒🥩

@tiadobi @ErinBrockovich Modern infrastructure often reduces rodent harborages. (E.g., replacing old brick city sewer lines w/ new monolithic cement lines (i.e., rats use bricks to climb/run/harbor behind as bricks break away ++ not leaving abandoned infrastructure pipes in ground deters rats 1000x.

House mice in mouse houses. Me find 4 aptbuildings here. Mice LOVE cardbd boxes 4 big nesting. We shove boxes out-of-sight /out-of-mind dark areas & furgetaboutem. Boxes keep family odors. 2x walls + junk inside protect fm cold+ lower disturbing noises (low stress=more mice).🐭🐭
