🚨🎙️Lionel Scaloni:
“Lionel Messi asked me to let him start from the bench against Jordan so that other youngsters can get a chance.”
Does this guy know we want him to win the Golden Boot? 😭😭😭
🚨 Lamine Yamal: “Messi’s hat-trick? Every match he plays proves that he is the greatest player in history”.
“If anyone still has doubts, it’s because they’re deliberately looking for them. Leo is the GOAT”, told RTVE. 🐐
Lionel Scaloni reacts emotionally after Lionel Messi’s hat-trick:
🗣️ “I honestly couldn’t hold it back anymore… when Lionel Messi scored that third goal, I completely broke down on the sidelines because of everything that moment represented.”
“It wasn’t just about the hat-trick or the scoreline… it was about everything he has done for this team, for this shirt, for this country, and for the millions of people who have followed his journey from the very beginning.”
“As a coach, you are supposed to stay calm, think clearly, make decisions, and control emotions in every situation… but sometimes football takes over and reminds you that you are also just a human being.”
“When you see a player give absolutely everything over so many years, carry so much pressure, and still perform at this level in a World Cup, it becomes emotionally overwhelming even from the touchline.”
“He doesn’t just score goals for Argentina or win matches… he carries the hopes, dreams, and emotions of an entire nation every single time he steps onto the pitch.”
“In that moment after the third goal, I wasn’t thinking like a coach anymore, I wasn’t thinking about tactics or the game… I was just proud, emotional, and deeply grateful to be witnessing something like that so close.”
“You look at him and you slowly realise that what we are watching is not normal anymore… this is something that belongs in football history forever, something that will never be repeated in the same way.”
“That hat-trick didn’t just change the game or the result… it created a moment of pure emotion that will stay with me for the rest of my life as a coach.”
Novak Djokovic: “I wouldn't change anything in my life. I always did everything the best I knew at that given moment. I made a lot of mistakes, but at least I was authentic and myself. 100 times I'd rather choose to be myself than go along with the system, which is popular these days."
Novak Djokovic gives full credit to João Fonseca after his loss to him at Roland Garros, ‘You just have to say well done and congratulate him. Hats off. He just played lights out tennis. Every time there was a decisive moment he went for it’
“Did you have the impression that you were the one who could decide the match when you were still fresher? That there was something missing probably because of lack of energy?”
Novak: “Well, it would be nice if it was best of 3 😂. But it’s not. And yeah, I ran out of gas to be honest. I don’t feel good at all on the court in the next couple sets. End of the fourth was my best chance. 4-3, 15-40… he just played really good points. He was attacking. Big serves. When I look back in important moments, could I have done something different? You can always say yes, but you just have to say well done and congratulate him. Hats off. He just played lights out tennis. Every time there was a decisive moment he went for it. Maybe my only fault was 3-1 in the 5th, serving and I dropped the serve. But again, he played a couple very aggressive points. Any ball coming to his forehand, around the forehand, mid-forehands… he was crushing it. It was really hard to read. He was playing with extreme pace. Break point to come back to the match? 3 aces. What can you do? Strongest aces he’s got through the whole match, 220, 215. Only thing you can say is well done. That’s it.”

Ayer.
Hoy.
Siempre.
