I still remember when he had the flu and in the second half against Seattle in 1979, he came off the bench and brought us back from 34-10 to a 37-34 victory. I was at the game as a kid.
We are saddened to learn of the passing of #BroncosROF quarterback Craig Morton, who died on Saturday at the age of 83.
Morton quarterbacked the Broncos from 1977-82 and led the team to its first playoff appearance and Super Bowl berth (XII vs. Dallas) in the 1977 season.

@VicLombardi We were soft. Jaden’s words didn’t even fire the team up including our coach. They had a level of intensity we couldn’t match. I fear that our window has closed unless we are willing to spend and not squander the time we have left with Jokic.
@I_CU_boy Agreed unless ownership is willing to go into the luxury tax, but I don’t see that happening. If there are no changes, we might still be a playoff team, but nothing more.
@nuggets I love my @nuggets but this was a disgrace. I hate the Timberwolves, but I have to give them credit. They were more aggressive and played phenomenal defense the whole series. It’s like they always had an extra gear. It resulted in Mal and Braun being timid offensively. Oh well.
@nuggets What is going on? Braun is playing scared, Jamal can’t hit a shot, Jokic needs to be aggressive because the Wolves don’t care they are shorthanded, they came to play in their signature aggressive style. Match the intensity guys!
@I_CU_boy@DenSports1043 This sucks, the Wolves always seem like they have an extra gear for Denver and we can never match that intensity. That lies squarely on the coach’s shoulders. Braun is playing apprehensively on both ends of the floor, Gordon hurt, Cam and Hardaway can’t make shots. No effort.
@AltitudeTV@katywinge We have failed to match T’wolves intensity. Second half and especially in the fourth quarter, Minnesota switched gears and we did not match it. @nuggets look apprehensive, Braun for example, I don’t think he’s made a dunk/layup because he knows it’ll get rejected.
